「肉割掉還會長」　尼泊爾惡醫騙人低價賣腎

據統計，全球每年非法買賣的腎臟多達7000個。在尼泊爾首都加德滿都，因人口老化、營養不足及缺乏醫療保險制度，導致腎病患者數目增加，黑市買賣腎臟更成為一門大生意。

美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）報導，尼泊爾部份惡醫會欺騙窮困及未受過教育的農民出賣腎臟。一名受害人說，他在加德滿都建築工地做工時，一名工頭向他提議只要讓醫生割一塊肉，便可以得到 3萬美元（約90萬元台幣），而這塊肉很快會再長出來。他不疑有詐，被帶到印度一間醫院做手術，事後取得的酬金不到300美元（約9000元台幣），到醫院 檢查才知被割去一邊腎臟。
 
加德滿都的人權組織表示，單是尼泊爾一個地區過去5年便有超過300人報案被非法割去腎臟，但實際數字遠超於此，因為不少受害人因感到羞愧、害怕被報復等原因，沒有報案。 （國際中心／綜合外電報導）
