波音727住15年　美工程師盼升級住747

美國俄勒岡州的退休工程師坎貝爾（Bruce Campbell），多年前將一架退役的波音727客機改裝成他的住處，他現在希望「升級」購入較寬敞的波音747，成為他在日本的家。

坎貝爾1999年以10萬美元（約300萬台幣）購入727客機，停放在波特蘭近郊，他再花22萬美元（約660萬台幣）改裝，日常起居飲食都在飛機裡進行。

由於他現在每年都在美國住半年、日本住半年，但在日本住時就沒法住在飛機裡。這位超級飛機迷準備花錢買進報廢的747客機，放在日本當做在亞洲的住處。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
