訪東港漁會 總統：護漁不護短

總統馬英九對「東港三寶」之一的櫻花蝦展現高度興趣，當場試吃。

總統馬英九昨天中午訪視屏東東港區漁會，他強調，去年台、日簽署漁業協定，台灣主權未讓，釣魚台還是中華民國領土、台灣的屬島。

此外，馬英九也重申政府立場是「護漁但不護短」，去年廣大興28號漁船事件，政府全力向菲律賓討公道，與菲政府就海上執法避免使用武力和暴力達成共識；在合法範圍內，政府一定全力護漁，如果台灣漁民進入他國領海，也將按國際法來執行。

總統馬英九昨天前往東港漁會參訪，並與當地漁業人士餐敘，他肯定東港限量限期捕撈櫻花蝦，讓櫻花蝦產業每年穩定成長，並頒發「漁業楷模」鼓勵東港櫻花蝦產銷班。

馬英九也說，政府去年與日本簽定台日漁業協定，讓台灣漁民在釣魚台周邊海域，作業範圍增加約4530平方公里，也讓高級魚種捕獲量倍數遞增。
