Surprise！　莫文蔚「離譜」慶44歲

莫文蔚昨晚到常州巡演，她下月2日過44歲生日，歌迷貼心安排驚喜給她，提前聯繫她的工作人員與導演組，不僅為偶像錄製祝福VCR，還準備生日帽派送給在場的觀眾。最後在安可時，台上突然響起爵士版生日歌，台下無數彩燈皇冠亮起，接著工作人員推蛋糕衝上前，全場大唱生日歌，讓莫文蔚激動大叫：「你們太離譜啦！」
 
慶功宴上，心情大好的莫文蔚表示，自己完全沒想到大家會幫她慶生，「因為工作很忙，我也忘記自己生日快到了」。她透露，下半年會放長假，好好犒勞自己。談起20來的演藝工作，她說，表演已成為生命的一部分，無法割捨，因全部精力都集中在工作中，所以很少被花邊新聞纏身，自己的才華也不在這方面。（蕭孜玹／台北報導）
