江宜樺任內首度出訪薩爾瓦多

行政院發言人孫立群上午表示，行政院長江宜樺6月1日將以總統特使身分，與夫人李淑珍，率團前往薩爾瓦多，參加新任總統桑契斯及副總統歐帝茲的就職典禮。

江宜樺5月30日自台北啟程，6月4日返抵國門，全程訪問6天5夜，去返程都是過境洛杉磯。

由於今年是我國與薩國建交60年，兩國政府均十分重視，外交部簽請總統指派特使，馬總統考量結果，決定由江宜樺率團。

外交部次長柯森耀表示，前副總統蕭萬長也曾於1999年，以行政院長身分，前往薩國參加總統的就職典禮。
