「文學灌籃」歐尼爾戰文壇

（中央社記者吳協昌洛杉磯13日專電）擔任警察、球評、演員之後，已退休的美國職籃NBA球星俠客歐尼爾的下一個角色將是童書作家，在書中加入他對籃球的熱愛，秀出「文學的灌籃！」。

洛杉磯湖人隊前明星中鋒歐尼爾（ShaquilleO'Neal），在球員期間就被認為是對小球迷最親切的球星之一，不過根據「今日美國報」報導，歐尼爾已經同意為一家出版社寫一系列名為「小俠客」的童書。

歐尼爾在退休之後，曾經客串過警察、演員，目前是TNT的球評，如今再多加上童書作家頭銜，他說，很開心可以跟出版社合作，這項計畫可以讓他更親近年輕人，教育非常重要，他在這個童書系列中，也會加入自己對籃球的熱愛，這是「文學的灌籃！」

根據報導，「小俠客」系列童書的內容將以歐尼爾的童年為基礎，以歐尼爾與另一個角色的冒險過程為主題。

歐尼爾在2011年曾經出版回憶錄，書中提到他小時候遭到親生父親遺棄，由母親與繼父帶大，繼父的名字在阿拉伯文中的意義就是「小戰士」。1030514
