廖祥銓獲緩刑 哽咽謝法官

〔自由時報記者林嘉東、吳昇儒／基隆報導〕基隆市長張通榮教唆縱放毆警婦人，其中被控縱放廖婦的停職警員廖祥銓獲緩刑，廖員昨得知判決後，哽咽說「感謝這段期間同仁與親友的關心，更感謝法官給我自新的機會」、「若有機會復職，我一定會比以前更努力工作。」

高等法院判決認為，廖祥銓是因難以承受「來自市長的壓力」才觸法，因此雖維持一審判的六月徒刑，但給他緩刑三年。

廖祥銓當初一審被判刑六月、未獲緩刑，遭到停職，他為了養家活口，到一家公司擔任保全；同僚普遍替他抱不平，認為「市長緩刑、遭市長逼迫放人的員警未緩刑」，「小警員被犧牲了」。

昨二審宣判後，員警獲緩刑，市長緩刑遭撤銷，基層員警擊掌說「總算司法還有正義」。
