異形設計者辭世 享壽74歲

（法新社日內瓦13日電） 媒體今天報導，瑞士超現實主義設計大師吉格（Hans Ruedi Giger）已與世長辭，享壽74歲。吉格為經典科幻電影「異形」（Alien）設計的怪物，曾替他贏得奧斯卡獎。

瑞士廣播電視台（SRF）引述消息人士的話報導，吉格因為摔倒受傷，昨天下午在醫院不治。

出身化學世家的吉格，1940年在瑞士東部小鎮科爾（Chur）出生，1962年搬到蘇黎世，研讀建築與工業設計，很快地便投身藝術界。

吉格在外星人ET設計者藍巴迪（Carlo Rambaldi）的協助下，為英國籍導演雷利史考特（Ridley Scott）1979年的經典電影創造出「異形」造型，獨特的風格讓他聞名全球。

駭人的異形有著骸骨般軀體，配上長長的金屬頭部和吸血鬼似尖牙，為吉格贏得1980年奧斯卡金像獎的最佳視覺效果獎。

吉格的設計也是多部知名電影的焦點，包括布萊安吉布森（Brian Gibson）執導的「陰風怒吼 」（Poltergeist Ⅱ）、大衛芬奇（David Fincher）的「異形3」（Alien3）以及羅傑唐納森（Roger Donaldson）的「異種」（Species）。（譯者：中央社劉文瑜）
