衛福部長將率團出席世衛大會

（中央社記者謝佳珍台北2014年4月15日電）外交部國際組織司長周台竹今天表示，今年是中華民國第6度獲邀以觀察員身分出席世界衛生大會（WHA），循例由衛生福利部長邱文達率團與會。

媒體詢問，世界衛生組織（WHO）內部文件稱台灣為中國的一省，周台竹說，不能接受，會持續透過信函等方式持續抗議；中華民國參與國際組織若碰到不公平待遇，會循正常管道表達不滿。

周台竹上午在外交部新聞說明會表示，第67屆世界衛生大會（WHA）5月19到24日在瑞士日內瓦召開，邱文達率團與會，今年仍以「中華台北」名稱參加；WHO幹事長邀請邱文達出席的邀請函已於9日寄達。

周台竹說，今年WHA全會討論主題為「氣候與健康的關連性」，目前規劃邱文達針對這個主題演說，宣揚中華民國協助促進全球衛生發展貢獻。
