菜鳥傳奇 王維中大聯盟初登板

（中央社記者林宏翰台北2014年4月15日電）旅美左投王維中今天成為第11名在美國職棒大聯盟出賽的台灣球員，更可貴的是，他從最低階菜鳥聯盟直升大聯盟。

王維中效力於密爾瓦基釀酒人隊，在對聖路易紅雀隊比賽中，0比4落後局面，第9局登場後援1局，被敲1支安打，無失分，終場釀酒人0比4輸球。

王維中25日才要滿22歲，旅美第3年，2011年手肘韌帶撕裂傷開刀，直到去年首次出賽，在匹茲堡海盜隊低階菜鳥聯盟投1季。

去年季後釀酒人隊透過「規則五選秀」，挖角王維中。

王維中開季進入釀酒人隊大聯盟25人正式球員名單，成為美國職棒史上首位透過「規則五選秀」，從菜鳥聯盟直升大聯盟球員。

王維中是本季繼陳偉殷、李振昌後，第3名在大聯盟出賽的台灣球員，也是繼陳金鋒、曹錦輝、王建民、郭泓志、胡金龍、倪福德、陳偉殷、林哲瑄、李振昌與羅嘉仁後，第11名在美國大聯盟出賽的台灣球員。
