高雄市推動環保殯葬，除了在旗山區多元葬法生命園區闢建樹葬區，4月15日將再開放燕巢區深水山公墓樹葬區「璞園」，設有600個穴位及1處樹灑葬區。

民政局殯葬管理處99年在旗山區多元葬法生命園區闢建樹葬區，規劃了800個穴位，截至今年3月，已使用201個穴位。

民政局局長曾姿雯表示，為貫徹環保葬不留痕跡的精神，高雄市兩處樹葬區比照植存做法，不做永久設施、不入塔、不立碑、不設墳及不記名。

學生反服貿串連罷課行動人數持續攀升，教育部政務次長陳德華上午強調，不去上課是學生個人行為，「這叫做蹺課、不叫罷課」，在教育部的認定裡，沒有「罷課」這種說法。他指出，學生不去上課，需依照相關規定請假，學校也應該循校內的請假規則來處理。若因蹺課造成學習落後等負面影響，學生必須自行負責。

針對部分校系用表決方式，決定要繼續上課還是停課，陳德華指出，這樣的方式非常不恰當，會讓少數想上課的學生不敢說話。另外，由老師主動提出停課也非常不妥，因為老師的工作內容就是授課，必須顧及每個學生的受教權。

他透露，近來教育部不斷接到很多家長打電話抗議，關心孩子的受教權。反映出確實有學生想上課，但因為學校停課受到波及。

學生自主罷課行動發起人之一、台大城鄉所學生范綱皓認為，集體罷課是一種政治行動。教育部口口聲聲說要推行多元學習，卻不允許學生罷課進行校外自主學習，無疑是自打嘴巴。

他強調，「我罷課在街頭學到的，遠比在教室內學得還多」，讓他個人生命經驗與智識開闊許多。他認為學生罷課上街頭學習，是理論與實踐接軌的最佳途徑。
