威尼斯及其鄰近地區200多萬選民，在21日結束的為期一周網路投票，以89%的壓倒性多數贊成脫離義大利宣告獨立。

這項投票並沒有法律約束力，只是希望號召選民支持獨立公投。義大利其他地區把這項投票斥為「完全瘋狂」。
