據英國《每日郵報》14日報導，肯特郡林姆尼港野生動物園(Port Lympne wild animal park)的大猩猩安巴姆今年已滿24歲，體重220公斤，卻能「人模人樣」的直立行走。報導稱，它直立行走的照片已被百萬人點擊觀看。

安巴姆與其他習慣四肢著地行走的大猩猩不一樣，牠能完美的協調兩條後腿的平衡，還很喜歡直立著悠閒散步，享受這個過程。

安巴姆直立行走的照片在2011年上傳到網路後，已有數百萬人點擊觀看。動物園發言人稱，安巴姆直立行走的的習慣已經影響到它的妹妹坦巴和2歲的侄兒卡巴萊。

安巴姆1990年出生於豪利特野生動物園(Howletts)，目前是林姆尼野尼野生動物園裡最大的猩猩，重約220公斤。大猩猩一般壽命為30到50歲。
