去年防禦率王上場 老虎止敗

4連敗的老虎，終於等到去年防禦率王Anibal Sanchez振衰起蔽，不再上演先發投手爆爆樂。Sanchez投7局、失2分，幫助老虎以7比2擊敗遊騎兵。

這是Sanchez揮別手傷後第二度先發，也是今年第二次先發投到第7局。他在第2局被Mitch Moreland揮出2分打點二壘安打，但在那之後，只再被擊出三支沒有殺傷力的一壘安打。

遊騎兵雖然先馳得點，不過先發投手Scott Baker沒讓領先維持多久。2局下，老虎Austin Jackson敲出兩分砲，兩隊平手。3局下Miguel Cabrera擊出適時二壘打，送回Ian Kinsler，老虎3比2超前。

第5局Baker再掉2分，第6局Andrew Romine揮出生涯首轟。6局結束，Baker下台一鞠躬，被擊出8支安打、掉6分，承擔本季首敗。

比賽後段，遊騎兵反攻有氣無力。Sanchez退場後，老虎派出Al Alburquerque、Ian Krol各投1局，都沒掉分，結束比賽。

過去4場比賽，老虎共掉31分，這一戰Sanchez成為止敗英雄，奪下本季第2勝。Kinsler則是打線上的風雲人物，揮出3支安打、並得到3分，一吐被遊騎兵交易的怨氣。

四連戰前兩場，雙方各拿一勝，老虎戰績28勝16敗，美聯中區第一，遊騎兵戰績23勝25敗，美聯西區第四。
