矽智財（Silicon Intellectual Property，SIP，簡稱IP）供應商，主要指沒有晶圓廠、也不生產晶片，單純出售電路設計架構的智慧財產授權公司，除了自行開發設計的IP外，也會重新修正已驗證或使用過的晶片，設計出IP套餐授權，提高單一IP價值。隨著晶片設計複雜化與系統單晶片時代來臨，使用IP成為縮短產品開發時間的最佳選擇。

目前全球最大IP供應商就是安謀（ARM），掌握七成以上的手機晶片IP授權市場，根據Gartner統計，2013年全球半導體IP市場規模達24.5億美元，半導體IP龍頭為安謀，市佔率達43.2%，再來則是Synopsys（新思科技）與Imagination Technologies，各佔13.9%與9%，台灣主要IP業者有智原、力旺、創意等。（記者卓怡君）
