北捷殺人事件延燒 高捷車廂將裝監視器

台北捷運發生隨機殺人事件，高雄市長陳菊昨表示，將要求高雄捷運在車廂內設置監視器，市府並加強警力安全部署，並籲請市民保持警覺。

陳菊說，不止在高雄捷運，所有公共場域都須重視防止這類事件的再度發生；前天北捷事件發生後，市府立刻檢討如何加強高捷安全措施，除要求警方做好警力部署，同時要求高捷在車廂內裝置監視器。

高市捷運局長陳存永指出，高捷去年估計裝設監視器約需三千八百萬元，限於經費未能馬上裝設，北捷事件發生後，情況已不同，市府將要求高捷依約在車廂內裝設監視器。

在高捷車廂裝設監視器有無妨害隱私問題？陳存永說，公共場所沒有隱私權問題，監視器具嚇阻作用，並可自監視巡控中心提早發現異常，做好預防。
