【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】泰國軍方在周二凌晨宣布戒嚴令後，該國股市早盤一度大跌逾1.5％，泰銖兌美元匯率應聲走貶，盤中一度重挫0.6％來到32.64兌一美元，創下2個月新低。惟外匯交易員表示，泰銖隨後止跌回穩，可能是泰國央行已經進場干預。

泰國軍方在周二頒布戒嚴令，以恢復國家秩序。軍方下令禁止支持政府的團體與反政府派系上街遊行，並下令十個衛星電視頻道關閉，其中包括由兩大對立派系所營運的電視台。
