對於智慧型手機（尤其是防水防塵型號）的使用者來說，GoPro 的專用 app 一直都是一個不錯的工具。最近其推出了 Android app 的升級，改進的地方包括有經過設定目錄開啓，容許在 app 開啓的同時，自動經 Wi-Fi 連接相機的功能，而分享方面，其也可以將已拍攝的相片或影片經過 Instagram、Facebook 或 YouTube 等社交網絡分享。如果你是那超過一半的 Android 4.0 以上使用者的話，這個專用 app 的介面就會得到升級，而且也會額外加入將指定相片設為主介面背景圖片的功能。如果還沒有收到自動升級提示的話，可以按引用來源下載。
