緬懷郵務士 新橋叫「勇男」

即將在六月完工的台東知本溫泉外聯絡道路新建的斜張橋，台東縣政府經主管會報投票表決，將橋梁命名為「勇男橋」，以緬懷民國六十二年十月娜拉颱風來襲期間，因公不幸殉職的郵務士溫勇男。

莫拉克風災後新建的這座斜張橋，完工後可望成為台東知本溫泉的新地標，台東縣政府指出，用斜張橋方式設計，將可增加斷洪的功效，六月完工除了能夠趕上暑假旅遊旺季及汛期，也可帶動地方觀光發展。
