市況差 花旗傳裁最多300人

彭博報導，消息人士透露，全美第三大銀行花旗集團（Citigroup Inc.）旗下負責股、債交易的部門裁員200至300人，花旗欲縮減成本以因應市況欠佳。

不願具名的消息人士指出，這次裁員占花旗全球市場業務的總人力近2%。華爾街日報（WSJ）今天稍早披露了花旗裁員相關消息。

在去年底止，花旗有員工25萬1000人，花旗訂今天公布財報。

花旗發言人阿帕斯洛斯（DanielleRomero-Apsilos）表示：「在目前的市況下，我們繼續嚴管支出，並按計畫裁員。與此同時，我們正策略性的召募人才。」

花旗財務長、60歲的戈斯帕奇（John Gerspach）上月向投資人指出，交易營收恐滑降低16%至19%。他上月3日在佛州一場會議上指出，股票營收優於固定收益業務。固定收益業務占花旗市場營收平均八成。
