日本一軟體預定於 2014 年 8 月 7 日推出，PS3 實體版 7,344 日幣，下載版 6,171 日幣；PS Vita 實體版 6,264 日幣，下載版 5,143 日幣的《真 流行之神》（真 流行り神），官網日前公佈神秘網頁，在全黑背景中只浮現數字「7」，似乎含有倒數計時的味道，網址中包含了“countdown”字眼似乎也證實了這是個時間倒數網頁。
本作為《流行之神》系列最新作，登場人物全部更新，遊戲仍將重點放在令人毛骨悚然的「都市傳説」關鍵字上，因此作品氛圍及世界觀等也都圍繞此主題展開。系列前作中的各話劇情均為獨立故事，本作則以主要故事「盲人篇」（ブラインドマン編）為軸心，依玩家選項發展出其他分歧劇情。

以研發 Clean Master 等手機清理工具 APP 的台灣雪豹科技，宣布跨足手機遊戲代理和營運業務，將以「工程師最愛的遊戲」角度，引進全球各地優質的手機遊戲，《摧毀水晶大作戰》便是首款準備登陸台港澳的遊戲，目前已進入中文版測試階段，並預計於 5 月 29 日進行 Android 系統封測。
魔獸奇幻背景 扮演奇襲侵略者
《摧毀水晶大作戰》以西方魔獸奇幻世界為故事背景，同時結合卡牌養成與塔防元素，玩家將著重策略布局和走位，指揮旗下的強悍軍團，發揮各種奇襲，摧毀 NPC 或是真實玩家的水晶，藉此擴大自己侵略版圖。
英雄塔防對戰 上中下三路外帶打野和輔助
《摧毀水晶大作戰》擁有近千張的英雄卡牌，玩家可跟隨故事劇情解開組隊人數的限制，以應付地圖中單路或上中下三路的變化，同時搭配不同英雄佈局站位，打野或是輔助，甚至合體或是換位，均靠玩家的策略性規劃。由於水晶生命值只有 HP25，因此解決掉敵人之後，剩下的就是對水晶進行狂風暴雨般的連擊摧毀了。
