台灣青年劉邦禹日前在澳洲墨爾本奪下2014世界盃咖啡杯測師大賽冠軍，成為亞洲獲得這項榮譽的第一人。劉邦禹今天(23日)返台暢談心路歷程。台灣咖啡協會認為，劉邦禹的獲獎為產業界注入新血、也為年輕學子立下典範，期望咖啡界能培養更多優秀人才，提升競爭力。
今年25歲的劉邦禹去年才剛退伍，接觸咖啡杯測只有短短1年多的時間，日前代表台灣參加世界盃咖啡杯測師大賽，便擊敗第二名、任職於美國星巴克的杯測師潔里斯(Amanda Juris)，拿下冠軍。
劉邦禹拿下冠軍時難掩興奮，披上事前準備的中華民國國旗上台領獎。他在23日返台與外界分享喜悅，表示代表國家比賽還是很有壓力。劉邦禹說：『(原音)當下非常開心，因為比國際賽跟國內賽的感覺完全不一樣，國際賽的話，背負的是國家，所以多少還是有壓力，比完贏了之後非常開心。』
咖啡杯測師就像是酒類的品酒師，具備咖啡豆品質鑑定的高度能力，國外大型咖啡豆公司都有杯測師團隊。教練王詩如說，練習期間，劉邦禹1天要測試30多種咖啡豆，為了保持味覺與嗅覺，平常飲食相當清淡，參賽期間更是只有吃白吐司、白開水。
劉邦禹獲獎，台灣咖啡協會也同感興奮。副理事長周溫培說，咖啡產業在台灣蓬勃發展，年產值上看新台幣500億以上，希望台灣未來在拉花、烘豆、杯測等各類人才的培育上有更好的表現，提升競爭力。

重慶晨報報導，67年前訂婚時，23歲的張萬銀在老丈人家第一次看到玫瑰花。

那天，玫瑰花開得很漂亮，他順手要了幾十株玫瑰苗帶回家，種在後山。他沒想到，打理玫瑰園，會成了他漫長人生中最美妙的事。

前日下午，張萬銀在自己的玫瑰園中穿行，小心地摘下已開的花朵。他腳下的地裡，除了玫瑰花，沒有其他植物。

後來，他又從老丈人那裡學會製作玫瑰糖的手藝。種玫瑰、製作玫瑰糖，成了張萬銀的新職業。

現在，他的玫瑰花瓣還銷往重慶主城，包括華生園、冠生園等。就是靠種玫瑰，張萬銀將八個孩子全都撫養長大，如今好幾個在重慶主城生活。

報導說，60多年過去，張萬銀從以賣玫瑰為生，到現在成了與玫瑰花一起生活。

在玫瑰滿園盛放的時節，為了採摘最好的花朵，張萬銀會背著背簍，鑽進花叢，整晚不歇，忙一個通宵是常事。

現在，隨著年歲增加，張萬銀也偶爾會擔憂，這份伴隨自己60多年的玫瑰事業，能否傳承下去。他有十多個徒弟，都是跟著他學製糖，但無人專職種植玫瑰，子女也都有工作，只在忙碌的季節回家幫忙。

老人有著自己的盤算，一方面發動更多村民一起種玫瑰花致富，另一方面尋找有文化的人來傳承自己的事業，他把希望寄託在自己的孫子和外孫身上。
