平板電腦近幾年的崛起，使得PC業者業績灰頭土臉，但是，最近PC業者尋找到產業優勢、重拾自信，企業公司仍是PC業者的穩定客群。

《華爾街日報》報導，上周美國晶片製造商英特爾(Intel)((US-INTC))指出，商業電腦訂單爆量，財報預期將會有所增長，是近5年內來首度成長。

PC製造商洞見產業重大訊息，儘管平板電腦在家庭市場佔有一席之地，但對於講求須執行多項任務的工作場所，PC電腦仍維持既有競爭力。

惠普(Hewlett-Packard)((US-HPQ))的執行長Meg Whitman表示，企業公司瞭解到對於產值高的工具仍有需求，與平板電腦的性質完全不同。

然而，近期企業對PC的訂單並無法彌補消費者縮水購買量，但此情況應該不會超出4個季度。

研究機構IDC數據預測，2014年全球PC出貨量估計減少6%，銷量還是呈現減少的趨勢。

在歷經市場大幅萎縮後，目前對PC業者而言，只要是任何有關銷售持穩的消息就相當樂見。

市場研究機構Gartner估計，PC產業將於2015年再度展開成長。

台灣記憶體製造商美光(Micron)((US-MU))全球總裁Mark Adams表示，電腦的記憶體訂單需求已經從6個月前開始增加，多數的訂單來自商業客戶。

Adams指出，對於PC在2014年出貨量仍會下滑的預測過於保守，他認為情況應更為樂觀。

消費者多喜愛使用平板從事網路的休閒活動，像是閱讀文章、看影片。

雖然有部分公司職員會在工作時使用平板，如業務人員向客戶解說產品時，但是，IDC估計，去年購買平板的所有消費者中，作為商業用途的只有11%。

相較之下，先前平板巨幅的增長現在有稍微冷卻的趨勢，IDC預測今年平板銷量只會成長12%，較2013年的52%急劇減少。

蘋果就電子書壟斷價格達成和解

（中央社台北2014年6月17日電）彭博報導，蘋果公司（Apple Inc. US-AAPL）就壟斷電子書價格與美國各州和消費者達成和解，避免面臨最高求償8.4億美元的官司。

1位曼哈頓（Manhattan）聯邦法官16日諭令蘋果和其對手在1個月內提交尋求批准和解的申請。至於協議細節則未披露。

美國政府在2012年4月對蘋果和5家最大出版商提出控告，稱這家iPad製造商促使他們簽訂協議，讓蘋果在定價模式下出售書籍電子版本，這種模式導致多數電子書價格較為昂貴。在此合約下，由出版商制定書價，蘋果收取30%費用。

美國政府指稱，蘋果和出版商用這些合約迫使最大電子書銷售商─亞馬遜公司（Amazon.com US-AMZN）更改其定價模式。

同時，亞馬遜以9.99美元出售最暢銷書的電子版本，常常都低於成本。美國地方法官柯特（Denise Cote）在沒有陪審團的審判中，對蘋果做出這項判決。

蘋果發言人于蓋（Kristin Huguet）不願對此置評。根據法院資料，蘋果將對柯特的判決持續上訴。（譯者：中央社徐睿承）
