傳三星有意併Siri語音辨識技術商Nuance

消息人士透露，為蘋果語音助理Siri提供語音辨識功能的Nuance通訊公司據傳有意出售，三星電子為潛在買主之一。

Nuance股價聞訊在紐約股市大漲9.7%至每股18.76美元，創2009年1月至今最大漲幅。

華爾街日報率先披露這項消息。除了三星，潛在買主還包括幾家私募基金，但目前還不清楚最後會否成交。

Nuance的語音技術應用十分廣泛，從手機、電視到GPS導航。Nuance客戶不僅包括蘋果，該公司曾表示，語音技術已經應用在三星的智慧手機、電視和平板電腦，而且將應用在三星的可穿戴裝置上。

Nuance目前市值約55億美元。其他知名客戶包括戴姆勒、任天堂和Panasonic。

彭博報導，語音辯識軟體製造商Nuance Communications Inc.周一股價大漲，漲幅寫下逾5年來之最，因報載該公司欲求售，並與潛在買家展開洽談。

華爾街日報（WSJ）引述未具名消息人士的話指出，Nuance有意求售，近來一直與三星電子（Samsung Electronics Co. ）與私募股權公司進行洽談。

Nuance周一股價狂飆9.7%，收18.76美元，寫下2009年1月來單日最大漲幅。億萬富豪投資人艾康（Carl Icahn）是Nuance的大股東。

Nuance發言人麥克（Richard Mack）謝絕對報導置評。南韓三星的代表也未立即回應記者置評要求。

Nuance市值近60億美元，一直面臨激進派股東艾康的威逼壓力，艾康於去年4月入股Nuance，並不斷加碼持股。

據彭博彙整的資料，在截至3月底止，隸屬艾康旗下的基金合計控有Nuance 19%持股。

開放黨政軍持股5% 有共識

產業數位匯流大戰已開始，相關法規還停在石器時代，據了解，各界對於開放黨政軍間接持股5%已有共識，但針對必載頻道以及分組付費等議題，各業者及國家通訊傳播委員會（NCC）還在角力中，廣電三法能否在下會期順利三讀，要倚靠立法院長王金平的智慧。

NCC表示，獨立系統台新永安已完成有線電視全面數位化，年底前有線電視數位化普及率將達75%，希望立院可早日通過廣電三法修正案。

葉倫：適當時有必要工具能升息

Fed主席葉倫18日說，在適當時機決策官員有必要工具能升息，並將維持龐大資產負債表「一段時間」。

葉倫在Fed貨幣決策會議會後記者會上表示，目前討論讓規模空前的貨幣寬鬆措施退場，「絕非有意暗示政策即將有任何改變」。

她說：「決策委員會有信心，必要時將有工具能調升短期利率，Fed也將繼續維持龐大資產負債表一段時間。」

Fed正在測試可使它維持龐大資產負債表的新工具，即使在調升短期利率後。官員們將利用這些工具，引導超額準備流出銀行體系。這些工具包括定期存款機制（TDF）、超額準備利息在內。

Fed自去年9月也實驗一種隔夜、固定利率的附賣回計畫，以引導資金流出銀行體系。
