烏克蘭國家銀行(National Bank of Ukraine，NBU；中央銀行)16日宣布調高利率，從9.5%上調至12.5%，達到10多年來新高，希望藉此遏制日益飆高的通貨膨脹率，並冷卻投資者將資金移出的舉動。
自烏克蘭東部爆發分離運動後，投資人紛紛從烏克蘭撤資，烏克蘭外匯存底也隨之縮水。
烏克蘭央行表示，烏克蘭的消費者物價和去年相比已經成長了17%。央行指出，烏克蘭物價指數從今年1月的0.5%，飆升到6月時12.0%。而2月正是親俄羅斯的烏克蘭前總統亞努科維奇下台、最後導致俄羅斯併吞克里米亞半島的時候。烏克蘭東部地區自此陷入動亂。
烏克蘭央行表示，由於烏克蘭貨幣疲軟、經濟改革展開以及東部情勢依舊緊張，因此物價升高在預期之中。

同意全面停火 哈瑪斯拒絕證實

（中央社耶路撒冷2014年7月17日綜合外電報導）以色列官員告訴法新社、路透社和英國廣播公司（BBC），以色列和巴勒斯坦激進組織哈瑪斯已就全面停火達成協議，停火從明天早上6時展開。不過哈瑪斯拒絕證實這項報導。

要求匿名的以色列官員表示，以色列和哈瑪斯（Hamas）「已同意停火，停火明天早上6時展開」。

不過哈瑪斯拒絕證實這項報導。哈瑪斯發言人巴汗（Fawzi Barhum）告訴法新社：「我們沒有關於這項協議的資訊。」

加薩地區醫療人員表示，以色列第10天發動空襲，加薩死亡人數增至231。

以色列軍方今天稍早表示，在人道停火生效才兩個小時，就有3枚從加薩走廊發射的迫擊砲彈擊中以色列南部。

以色列軍方告訴法新社，砲彈擊中毗連加薩走廊南部的艾希柯（Eshkol）地區，並表示是哈瑪斯所發動。

以色列軍方說，砲彈落在空曠地區，沒有傳出傷亡或損失，也沒有傳出以色列採取報復行動。

以色列軍方今天稍早表示，以色列與哈瑪斯人道停火生效前不久，破阻了加薩好戰分子「滲透」進入以國南部的行動。

勒納說，13名好戰分子經由南部加薩邊境1條隧道出現，朝1公里多外的小社區蘇法基布茲（Sufakibbutz）前進時，被發現蹤跡。

他表示，以色列部隊在空襲中擊斃至少1名好戰分子，剩餘的好戰分子往隧道回逃。

巴勒斯坦醫療人員今天說，在5小時停火協議生效前數分鐘，以色列坦克發動攻擊，擊中加薩南部一棟房子，造成3人喪命。

緊急救難部門表示，另有4人在這起發生於拉法（Rafah）的攻擊中受重傷。

以色列和哈瑪斯集團同意聯合國倡議，今天基於人道考量停火5小時，國際同時持續努力促成更長期的休戰協議。

雙方宣布加薩地區停火5小時，而以色列昨天才發動襲擊，導致加薩市1處海灘4名孩童喪生。
