美PPI、消費信心 雙降

美國勞工部14日公布，2月生產者物價指數（PPI）意外較前月下滑，是去年11月來首見，也遠不如分析師預估，反映通膨壓力仍疲弱。另外，密西根大學3月消費者信心指數意外降到四個月低點。

美國2月PPI月比下滑0.1%，是去年11月來首見減少，也遠不如分析師預估的上升0.2%。若與一年前相較上揚0.9%，增幅是去年5月來最小，也不如1月的上揚1.2%。

上月PPI下滑主要是因為貿易服務需求疲弱，該類別價格下滑1%，是近一年來最大減幅。若不計貿易服務、食品與能源等價格波動劇烈的部門，PPI則增0.1%，與前月持平。

同日公布的湯森路透／密西根大學3月消費者信心指數初估值也不如預期，從2月的81.6降至79.9，創去年11月來最低，不如彭博資訊預測的升至82。

受訪消費者對經濟前景較悲觀，代表就業需要更大幅度的成長來推升薪資成長率，才能刺激消費。另外，裁員人數減少、房價上漲和股市逼近歷史新高，則有助於消費者信心維持不墜。
